Private Math Tutoring

Sasha graduated for UCLA with a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Mathematics and Bioinformatics. She has extensive experience tutoring high-preforming elementary and middle school students, guiding them through arithmetic and pre-algebra courses. Moving to university, Sasha began to tutor undergraduate college math courses and soon after spent 3 years as a full-time high school teacher. Through her 8 years of teaching and tutoring experience, Sasha found a passion for helping students experience those ‘lightbulb’ moments that boost their confidence and math fluency. 

She enjoys creating personalized lessons that not only provide clear, step-by-step instruction to complete problems with ease, but also building vital critical thinking and problem solving skills. This approach ensures that the student will not only excel in their current class, but lay a solid foundation for future math success. When she is not teaching, Sasha spends her time boxing and playing the drums.
